Sink your feet into the silky white sand. Enjoy the aquamarine water stripped with hues of jade green and dark blue set against a bright blue sky. Listen to the breeze rustling the palm fronds overhead and the relaxing sounds of the Indian Ocean. Spot the fisherman’s dhow that promises a delicious seafood dinner. Ukunda, Diani is one of my favorite places in Kenya. This painting aims to evoke feelings of peaceful relaxation and an appreciation for the gifts from the ocean that wash up on the beach.
